EcoLogic is a social enterprise that provides access to certified locally sourced organic farm inputs to smallholder farmers through a network of trusted farmer agents. This involves sourcing essential organic inputs from reputable local producers like Vermipro and facilitating their delivery to farmer agents who sell to smallholder farmers. Through our agents, we also provide training and extension services to farmers on how to use organic inputs. In addition, we are developing a transition-to-certification program to onboard smaller input producers, formalize, connect them to a larger demand, and help them grow their business beyond their current customer base. Our farmer agents are trained to support farmers in soil health management, diagnose and prescribe soil treatment solutions, and aggregate input orders, which are usually supplied within 24 hours through our systems and then distributed to the smallholder farmers by these agents.
