Established in 1989, Le Hérisson is well known in the community for providing a fully accredited French education.
Since 2017 we have expanded our curriculum and now offer a completely integrated, bilingual (English/French) education.
We are accredited by the French Ministry for Education, AEFE (Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger), the official network of French international schools worldwide.
Le Hérisson School is Ofsted registered and inspections are carried out by the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate, on behalf of Ofsted.
Our heritage enables us to offer a combination of the best of both education systems, delivering academic success while ensuring children are happy, well balanced and able to reach their full potential.
Although we are based within an impressive 18th century Methodist church we are proud to be an inclusive school which celebrates diversity and many different cultures.
We work closely with parents and families to ensure children are properly supported and thrive in the care of our dedicated team.
