LIFE-AR is an LDC-led, LDC-owned initiative to develop a long-term vision for delivering a climate-resilient future, in line with LDC needs and priorities. LIFE-AR aims to shift business unusual ways of working and ensure that climate action is driven by and for LDCs, and addressing specific vulnerabilities. It aims to strengthen LDCs’ institutional arrangements, capabilities and systems to access climate finance and invest at least 70% behind local priorities.
LIFE-AR est une initiative des Pays les Moins Avancés (PMA) visant à développer une vision à long terme pour assurer un avenir résilient face au changement climatique, conformément aux besoins et aux priorités des PMA. LIFE-AR vise à modifier les méthodes de travail inhabituelles et à faire en sorte que l'action climatique soit menée par et pour les PMA, et qu'elle réponde à leurs vulnérabilités spécifiques. L'objectif de LIFE-AR est de renforcer les dispositions institutionnelles, les capacités et les systèmes des PMA pour leur permettre d'accéder au financement climatique et d'investir au moins 70 % dans les priorités locales.
