We don’t limit our approach to Mental health as a medical condition alone but give due importance to social conditions that surround an individual, in this regard availability of Social workers on our platform makes it one of its kind in the country.
Stigma is a major barrier to seek help. By using technology we provide counseling services that are anonymous and completely confidential. At lisners, we develop a peer network for users where those suffering from similar mental health issues can virtually connect and support each other. We know that telephonic counseling has its limitations vis-à-vis, in-person counseling. However, our prime motto is to encourage people to take that first step, who may never approach a counselor in person during their lifetime.
