Lisners is a technology solution from Brightlanes Technologies Private Limited, a start-up company that aims to drive technological solutions in the field of health and social sector. It is a Microenterprise registered with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India. Lisners is an online platform that connects technology to psychology. Our primary aim is to create Mental Health awareness, normalize mental health issues as common as physical health and encourage people to seek help. We look forward to providing a technology platform where users can easily find excellent Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Counselors, Social workers, therapists, and lawyers and seek expert guidance. We don’t limit our approach to Mental health as a medical condition alone but give due importance to social conditions that surround an individual, in this regard availability of Social workers on our platform makes it one of its kind in the country. Stigma is a major barrier to seek help. By using technology we provide counseling services that are anonymous and completely confidential. At lisners, we develop a peer network for users where those suffering from similar mental health issues can virtually connect and support each other. We know that telephonic counseling has its limitations vis-à-vis, in-person counseling. However, our prime motto is to encourage people to take that first step, who may never approach a counselor in person during their lifetime.
