Before the mid of 2002, nobody had imagined there was a role for the private sector in the work of the Shari’a advisory boards and Shari’a auditing. This kind of privately offered services were not found in the market although the Islamic financial services industry (IFSI) was growing at a noticed rate.
At that time, we believed that IFSI will own the future, hence, Islamic financial institutions (IFIs) would need outsourced support in to make their businesses Shari’a, compliant. Consequently, we bridged the gap, led the market, and set up in Kuwait the first 2 offices offering services including Shari’a advisory boards and Shari’a auditing, so we pioneered the market under two famous brand names: Bait Al Mashora Company for Shari’a Consultancy and Al Raya International Company for Consultancy and Training
We belief in proficiency and credibility. Therefore, we have a mission to facilitate the businesses of IFIs through offering outsourced reliable services including Shari’a advisory boards, Shari’a auditing, and Islamic financial product development as the core services. This is in addition to offering other supportive services like specialized event management, research and studies, quality certificates in Shari’a processes and Islamic financial products, Zakat calculation, and Shari’a compliant stock market indices.
Our company differentiates by a wide range of expertise, where it combines number of highly qualified professional consultants, Shari’a Supervisory Board members, Shari’a auditors and supporting staffs, which enabling us to provide diverse Shari’a expertise to more than 120 Islamic Financial Institutions; funds and others.
Our consultants and auditors have excellent technical and managerial capabilities, long experience in various fields, gained through their auditing on different institutions and placement in training programs in order to raise their competences.
