Seit 1990 besteht MANEO – DAS SCHWULE ANTI-GEWALT-PROJEKT IN BERLIN als eigenständiges Projekt von Mann-O-Meter e.V. Es ist das bekannteste schwule Anti-Gewalt-Projekt in Deutschland. MANEO wurde mehrfach ausgezeichnet und gewürdigt, u.a. von der Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung, der Landeskommission Berlin gegen Gewalt und dem Landessportbund Berlin. MANEO beschäftigt sich mit vier Aufgabenbereichen: Opferhilfe, Meldestelle, Gewaltprävention und Empowerment. Die in diesen Bereichen gewonnenen Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse fließen zusammen und bilden gemeinsam den umfassenden Ansatz der Anti-Gewalt-Arbeit von MANEO.
Mit unserer qualifizierten Arbeit und unserer langjährigen Erfahrung bieten wir fachliche Hilfe und Unterstützung an. Diese Hilfe erfolgt schnell und unbürokratisch. Wir nehmen jedes Anliegen ernst. Die Erstattung einer Strafanzeige ist keine Voraussetzung für Beratung. Mit jedem Betroffenen erarbeiten wir individuelle Lösungswege. Alle Informationen behandeln wir selbstverständlich vertraulich.
