The use of Mezzanine Finance reduces the amount of financial contribution required from a property developer in order to make up the difference between the senior debt lending offered by a bank and the gross development cost of building the project. By cooperating with the banks and other specialised property lenders providing the senior debt to these developers, ME Partners identifies a steady demand for its Mezzanine Funding product from developers whose schemes meet the senior funding lenders’ stringent due diligence requirements for that senior funding. ME Partners therefore efficiently deploys funding raised on to a diversified range of developments within its Mezzanine Funding product secured on property and other assets.
