Origin is the first stop for Northeastern affiliates who want to build deep-tech ventures. Our mission is to connect ambitious people with the resources they need to tackle the worldly issues. What is "deep-tech"?
We define deep-tech as technology that has strictly applied scientific discoveries to generate a palpable solution to a common problem. Deep-tech differs from "regular" tech in the sense that it requires a touch of engineering to build a sophisticated solution.
