PASSAT unterstützt österreichische Unternehmen bei der Umsetzung des Digitalen Produktpasses, um nachhaltiges Wachstum durch Kreislaufwirtschaft und innovative Produktionsprozesse zu fördern. Durch die Bereitstellung verlässlicher Produktdaten entlang des gesamten Lebenszyklus ermöglicht der DPP die Reduktion von Abfall, eine längere Produktnutzung und neue Geschäftsmodelle.
Das Projekt entwickelt praxisnahe Lösungen, regulatorische Empfehlungen sowie Schulungsmaterialien und setzt Pilotprojekte in den Bereichen Textilien und Elektronik um. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Industrie, Forschung und politischen Akteuren schafft PASSAT die Grundlage für eine breite Einführung von DPPs in Österreich – für mehr Nachhaltigkeit und wirtschaftlichen Erfolg.
Dieses Leuchtturmprojekt wird in Österreich vom Bundesministerium für Innovation, Mobilität und Infrastruktur (BMIMI) und der Österreichischen Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft (FFG) sowie in Deutschland vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK) und dem Deutschen Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt – Projektträger (DLR-PT) gefördert. Das Projekt startete im Februar 2025, hat eine Laufzeit von drei Jahren und umfasst 19 österreichische sowie zwei deutsche Projektpartner.
