Patiëntenplatform Sarcomen is een organisatie voor sarcomapatiënten en hun naasten, brengt deze mensen met elkaar in contact, wil hun behandelingsbelangen behartigen, geeft hen voorlichting, en wil het wetenschappelijk onderzoek stimuleren.
VISIE
Patiëntenplatform Sarcomen is een actieve, informatieve, en onafhankelijke organisatie waar sarcomapatiënten zich thuis voelen en zich gesteund weten in de diverse stadia van de behandeling c.q. het ziekteproces, en ook na de eventuele genezing. Patiëntenplatform Sarcomen werkt aan de website voor alle Nederlandstalige sarcoompatiënten en patiënten met een borderlinetumor.
Uiteraard wordt er ook gebruik gemaakt van de diverse sociale media. De nieuwsvoorziening geschiedt via de website, daarnaast intern via het forum, het magazine en er zullen nieuwsbrieven in electronische vorm worden uitgegeven. Tevens organiseren wij een keer per jaar een contactdag voor gistpatiënten en sarcoompatiënten.
