QualiGene promotes quality in molecular genetic testing by providing external proficiency testing (PT) schemes to participating laboratories. Additionally, we offer our DNA sample collection as a source of positive controls, thus providing a One Stop Shop for laboratory quality assurance.
QualiGene’s establishment was inspired by the Israeli Ministry of Health and our colleagues in the Sheba Medical Center. Our PT schemes include technique-specific tests (QF-PCR, Sanger Sequencing, PGD for monogenic diseases, NGS for single genes and MLPA) and disease-specific tests. Most PT programs are ISO 17043 accredited
