Quinoa Bildung schafft Chancengerechtigkeit durch Schule.
Noch immer hängt Bildungserfolg in Deutschland von der Herkunft ab. Jährlich verlassen ca. 50.000 Schüler:innen als Schulabbrecher:innen die Schule (Statistik der Kultusministerkonferenz, 2021). Sie kommen fast immer aus sozioökonomisch benachteiligten Elternhäusern und/oder haben häufig eine Migrationsgeschichte. Alleine in Berlin sind es pro Jahr ca. 3.000 – die Quote für Jugendliche mit Migrationsgeschichte ist fast drei Mal so hoch.
Zur Schaffung von mehr Bildungs- und Chancengerechtigkeit wurde 2013 die Quinoa Bildung für hervorragende Lebensperspektiven gemeinnützige GmbH im Brennpunkt Wedding gegründet und entwickelte ein entsprechendes Bildungskonzept für Schulen in schwieriger Lage.
Seit 2014 wird dieses in der Quinoa-Schule im Brennpunkt Wedding erfolgreich umgesetzt. Die Schule wurde 2017 staatlich anerkannt.
Das Konzept wirkt: 2025 konnten 100 % unserer 10.-Klässler:innen einen Schulabschluss erzielen.
Das Ziel von Quinoa Bildung ist es, dass alle Jugendlichen in Deutschland – ungeachtet ihrer sozialen und kulturellen Herkunft – die Chance auf einen Schulabschluss und -anschluss bekommen.
