- Jordan River Trash Boom - Every 3 months Salt Lake County hauls 7 tons of trash from the Jordan River. Most of the debris is made up of plastic water and soda bottles - things that could have been recycled! We're raising awareness about this issue, and engaging the community so that less waste ends up in rivers and waterways.
