Hi, I'm Auda, a creative and artistically driven Costume Designer, Upcycled Fashion Designer, and Wardrobe Stylist. I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Art in Costume Design from the renowned Wimbledon School of Art, University of Art London. With a deep passion for sustainability and a background in materials science, I have dedicated my career to exploring innovative areas of research and development in sustainable fashion and bio-materials. I am the founder of Redress Laboratory, an eco-conscious fashion brand and research studio focused on researching and developing regenerative materials and systems of production. At Redress Laboratory, we embrace the ethos of reusing, upcycling, and repurposing materials to create unique and vibrant designs that celebrate the beauty of the world around us. I am particularly fascinated by the potential of sustainable fashion and bio-materials to transform the fashion industry and drive positive environmental change. I actively engage in exploring sustainable practices and stay at the forefront of emerging trends and technologies. I believe that embracing new advancements is crucial for incorporating sustainable solutions into my work. It is this commitment to continuous innovation that fuels my passion for exploring the endless possibilities of sustainable fashion and led me to co-create SaccoLAB. SaccoLAB is an R&D initiative focused on researching and developing sustainable materials that can replace leather, reduce environmental impact, and open up new design opportunities. By utilising regenerative and biodegradable plant fibers, we aim to create a holistic approach to textile manufacturing that harmonises with nature.
