Als Sportler*innen leisten BPoC bereits Überragendes für Sportdeutschland. Doch wie steht es um gerechte Zugänge zu den Entscheidungspositionen im Sport? Mangelhaft! Das wollen wir ändern und verkünden euch jetzt eine Initiative, die bereits lange nötig war: Roots Against Racism in Sports – für Vielfalt, Gerechtigkeit und Antirassismus im Sport.
🌟 Unsere Mission:
Mit den drei Säulen Empowerment, Awareness und Change möchten wir im Sport Vorurteile abbauen, marginalisierte Stimmen stärken und echte Veränderungen in den Strukturen des Sports vorantreiben.
🌐 Warum das wichtig ist:
Sport verbindet – aber nur, wenn gerechte Zugänge für alle ermöglicht werden. Das ist noch nicht der Fall und deshalb braucht es Roots.
Wir glauben daran, dass Sport ein Raum sein kann, in dem Respekt und Vielfalt gelebt werden – auf dem Spielfeld und darüber hinaus.
Warum bedarf es gerade ROOTS AGAINST RACISM?
Credibility und Expertise: Unser Name ist Programm. Wir sind ein Zusammenschluss von Menschen, die Rassismuserfahrungen gemacht haben, mit tiefgreifender, jahrelanger Expertise im Sport sowie in den Bereichen DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) und Antidiskriminierung.
