The desired goal of SCAI Shock Middle East is to change clinician competence in the management of patients with pre-shock and cardiogenic shock and use of circulatory support devices. Proper care of cardiogenic shock necessitates a team-based approach with interventional cardiologists, heart failure specialists, critical care physicians, surgeons, techs, nurses and others all on the same page. This is why we encourage members of the whole Shock Team attend this meeting.

SCAI’s mission is to promote excellence in invasive/interventional cardiovascular medicine through physician and allied health professional education, advocacy, and advancement of quality standards to enhance patient care.
