Chef Sania and Chef Ambika have grown up in families where food takes centre-stage in all aspects of life. It aches them to see perfectly edible produce being discarded, despite the world fighting hunger.
The respect for ingredients is as important as the art of cooking them. Therefore, we believe chefs have a greater responsibility, along with the farmers, towards providing wholesome meals while respecting seasonal produce and supporting responsible farming.
Seeking Roots dreams of reaching the bench mark set by distinguished chefs, and what better way than cooking to reflect our values!
We have learnt to appreciate the serenity in making everything from scratch and the importance of reviving traditional cooking techniques. Using indigenous ingredients, we experiment with seasonal menus, creating wholesome, soul-satisfying dishes.
This project is bigger than us. We want this to be a movement against the destructive eating trends. We truly believe our customers will further enable Seeking Roots to respect ingredients and subsequently all meals.
