I started this business after representing several levels of care and working with families searching for answers. I noticed that most of the families that came to me didn't know how to navigate the next steps for their loved ones. Often, they would not be in the right place and I would need to refer them to another level of care. Additionally, referral agencies "contracted for fees" with facilities for placement needs. This eliminated any facility that did not contract with them, leaving families missing good options for placement. After leaving the industry, friends and family relied on me to help them navigate options for their loved ones. I have access to resources to help families navigate through the options of senior care for their loved ones. I have experience in home care, assisted living, independent living, memory care, skilled nursing and hospice. Gen X is transitioning to empty nesters while also managing care for their parents. With the endless options for care, it is difficult and time consuming to navigate. Sometimes, you don't have time to navigate all of the options. I can connect you with the right resources for your loved ones so that you can make the right decisions based on their current needs. I can also provide education about the different levels of care and connect you to elder care financial planners and attorneys. As an elder care concierge and coach, I do not contract with facilities or businesses, so you can be assured that my coaching is not biased in regards to who will sell me a commission. As your personal coach and concierge, you will reduce time and frustration of discerning the differences in care. I can educate you on levels of care and resources within facilities to utilize.
