Фондация “Шевица” е създадена през 2016г, с цел осъществяване на общественополезна дейност. Фондацията има за цел да съхранява и популяризира българския танцов и песенен фолклор у нас и извън пределите на Родината.
Създаден през 2013г, Представителен Фолклорен Ансамбъл “Шевица” застава “на върха на копието” на фондацията. Вихреният Танцов състав на Ансамбъла представя в България и извън нея произведения не само на изтъкнати наши хореографи, но и авторски на хореографа, постановчик, вдъхновител и учредител на Ансамбъла и на Фондация „ШЕВИЦА“, Петър Ангелов.
Женският Народен Хор на ПФА “ШЕВИЦА” под ръководството на диригента Соня Чакърова е завладял и омагьосал с песните си не една сцена! А най-младото стръкче от букета „Шевица“ е Детско-Юношеския Фолклорен Ансамбъл „Шевица“, където малките танцьори от Танцовия състав на Ансамбъла и малките певци от Детския Народен Хор се учат да създават красотѝ, подвластни на българския фолклор и традиция.
Фондацията прегръща различни каузи през годините – от реставрирането на запустели християнски храмове до подкрепа към домове за стари хора през солидарни жестове към нуждаещи се хора или организации.
