Founded in the summer of 2013, SoCal12 was started as purely a swimsuit calendar, strictly casting current USC students. As the business developed over time, the founders saw an opportunity in creating a modeling firm built from the girls casted each year in the calendar. The firm name would become GCM (Gold Coast Modeling) and SoCal12 would serve as a branch of the firm. Currently, the company is comprised of only 12 girls serving as the face of the brand, SoCal12.
