SQLaw is a general civil and corporate practice founded by Barrister Shayyan Qaiser. Based in the Federal Capital of Pakistan, SQLaw is a full service legal practice which serves the needs of clientele ranging from private individuals to multinational corporations.
Shayyan read law at the University of London and was admitted as a Barrister of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. She is an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan and also holds a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School. She was an Associate at a reputable law firm based in Islamabad and served as Law Clerk and then Research Officer (BS-19) to a former Chief Justice of Pakistan and a Judge of the Supreme Court.

SQLaw provides the following legal services:
∙ Dispute resolution - represent clients before various legal forums in Pakistan, including the District Courts, High Courts, tribunals and quasi-judicial bodies
∙ Alternate dispute resolution - help clients to settle disputes without litigation through methods including arbitration, mediation, conciliation and negotiation
∙ Drafting - draft various types of documents ranging from simple gift deeds to complex commercial contracts
∙ Advisory - provide comprehensive legal opinions on different aspects of the law to individuals and private and public sector entities based in Pakistan and abroad, particularly foreign law firms regarding the local law
∙ Registration - register various documents, activities, entities and business organizations under the applicable law before the relevant forum
