We are a division of IPM Engineering – a group of Contracting, Consulting, Sales and Distribution businesses operating across Australia and New Zealand in a broad range of Industries including Construction, Defence, Dairy, Food & Beverage, Heavy Transport, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Mining & Mineral Processing, Oil & Gas, Process, Power Generation, Renewable Energy and Three Waters. Our management team have a deep understanding of these industries having worked in them for decades. Each of our recruitment consultants have hands on experience working in the type of roles that they recruit for. As part of the IPM Engineering group of Companies STEPS Labour & Recruitment understand the industries that our clients work in (because we work in them too) and take the time and make the effort to partner with our clients to understand their individual company needs and culture, so we can find the best candidates with the right skills and experience – as well as the right motivational and cultural fit – to be high performers. We also employ and manage the same type of people as the candidates that we recruit for our clients, so we understand the challenges of being an employer and can provide practical advice to our clients on recruitment, performance management and remuneration.
