About me;
At the age of 33 I was at a point in my life where I wanted to do some something different. Lots of people find themselves in the same position, questioning where they are going, but I’ve never been one to sit around so I left my job and set up my own business.
It was 2012 and I was sat in a small office in North West England thinking, “This is all pretty scary but I have a plan and I’m going to make this work!”
Fast forward eight years and I’m now CEO of Spirant Group. I’ve launched a further five businesses that turnover around £15m and employ more than 150 people across the UK, Australia and the USA.
Anything I’d change? Yes. Any regrets? No.
So other than being a successful businessman, I am a father, a former stand-up comedian, a dreadful footballer, an enthusiastic public speaker and a disastrous DIY-er.
One thing I think is key to overcoming challenges is the ability to find humour!
