Charity Registration Number: 1186202 Our mission is for young people to gain the life skills and resilience to stay safe around alcohol, vaping, cannabis and other substances, . Using highly evidenced, fun and engaging approaches, young people are equipped to avoid risky situations,know how to look after themselves and each other. We support 11 - 25 year olds, their parents/carers, teachers and youth professionals with free, engaging, evidence based activities, workshops, films and websites. Support for Schools: School is the one place where we can reach every pupil across the UK at a crucial time in their lives. Age 13 is the tipping point at which our kids look away from parents towards their friends and peers. We need to engage children before they begin drinking or experimenting and help them build their resilience skills, know how to avoid risky situations, learn how to look after themselves and each other and avoid slipping into situations that can run out of control. s. Alcohol and drug Education is normally taught through Science and Relationship, Social, Health and Economic education (RSHEe). Teachers are usually non specialist and so we support them with the resources ,training and ongoing support Parents and carers We help parents to talk about alcohol, vaping and cannabis, how to be good role models and set boundaries and protect their chidlren. Parents are the biggest influence on they're kids, even if it doesn't feel like it. Through our parent newsletter and talks held in school we give parents the strategies to face challenging situations; to feel more confident and knowledgeable.
