Teledesic planned to build a global, broadband Internet-in-the-Sky® network. Using advanced satellite technology, Teledesic and its partners designed a communications network that enabled cost-effective access to telecommunications services such as computer networking, broadband Internet access, interactive multimedia and high-quality voice.
