I’m an experienced HR leader with over 25 years of broad and varied HR experience, in the UK and globally across five continents. I spent my formative years in Retail, and then spent over 18 years at the BBC working across their various UK and global broadcasting operations, 5 years at Oxfam GB, and have undertaken voluntary work supporting individuals and smaller charities. My stand-out achievements include being the Head of HR for the largest expansion of the BBC World Service since the 1940’s, and also co-leading the HR function of Oxfam GB through substantial organisational and cultural change.
I’m known for my strategic insights, collaborative approach, and am trusted for my instincts. I thrive in environments where I can make a difference at a personal or organisational level.
A natural developer of others, I particularly enjoy championing people in early stages of their career and seeing them thrive. I take a trauma-informed and data-led approach to my work and have an interest in supporting neurodivergent colleagues and colleagues experiencing burnout.
