► HOW I WORK
I prefer to proofread transcripts in PDF format, though I can accept .txt, ASCII, or .doc files.
Clarity and consistency are top priorities. I have references on hand, but I adapt my annotations to fit your particular style.
I carefully review your work, word by word, then e-mail the annotated pages back to you with all suggestions very clearly noted.
You then submit a perfectly polished transcript and reluctantly accept heaps of praise, a 5-figure bonus check, and perhaps the Nobel Prize for Court Reporting.
(Okay, that last bit might be slightly exaggerated.)

I’ve been a "grammar aficionado" (friends use a far more colorful term) for as long as I can remember and finally found a way to use my superpowers for good. I'm married, with two grown sons, two dogs, and four cats.
I've worked 15 years in a health care, 9 years supporting folks with intellectual disabilities, 5 years in retail loss prevention, and a few years as a content marketing writer.
