Um diese Einkommenspotenziale in der Praxis wahr werden zu lassen, hat die toMOORow Initiative (Verbund aus Umweltstiftung Michael Otto und Michael Succow Stiftung, Partner im Greifswald Moor Centrum) die „Allianz der Pioniere“ ins Leben gerufen.
Die Allianz ist ein Zusammenschluss starker, innovativer Unternehmen, die antreten, um Paludikultur in skalierbare Wertschöpfungsketten zu bringen und so die Nachfrage nach diesem vielfältigen Rohstoff zu aktivieren. Dadurch entsteht ein Triple Win Effekt: Die Landwirtschaft sichert sich so auch nach der Wiedervernässung Einkommen, die Wirtschaft sichert sich ökonomische Potenziale und der Klima- und Artenschutz profitiert ebenfalls.
