We provide Relationships and Sex Education and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence prevention training to teachers and other professionals who work with young people. Whether you want to upskill staff who are already delivering RSE or introduce members of your team to the topic for the very first time, our training is accessible, non-judgmental and interactive.
Our wealth of knowledge and experience of working directly with young people means we know the issues that they face and our training equips staff to tackle those topics sensitively and effectively.
*Why we do it*
We know that high-quality RSE is essential for promoting young people’s wellbeing and, while there are a number of truly excellent external RSE providers in the sector, holistically and sustainably embedding RSE relies on staff feeling competent and comfortable providing RSE. That’s why we support schools and other organisation to ensure their in-house RSE provision is effective by training staff to provide evidence-based, age-appropriate RSE that has the safeguarding of all young peoples’ mental and physical wellbeing at its heart.
*Who we are*
We are a team of specialist facilitators. Collectively we have worked for multiple leading organisations within RSE and Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Prevention sectors including School of Sexuality Education, Brook, Rape Crisis, Refuge, Spectra, and Women and Girls’ Network. Members of the team are co-authors of Sex Ed: An Inclusive Teenage Guide to Sex and Relationships (Walker, 2021).
Our experience working in hundreds of schools, colleges, universities, and youth organisations across the UK gives us true insight into the issues that young people face. With our extensive experience providing student-facing sessions as well as teacher training, parent engagement and consultancy on holistic approaches, we are in an excellent position to provide staff training that is relevant, accessible and meets young peoples' needs.
