Der Treibhaus e.V. steht für eine erweiterte Perspektive auf Kultur. Durch seine interdisziplinäre Arbeitsweise und offene Struktur entsteht eine enge Verflechtung der verschiedenen Projektbereiche zur Förderung von Kunst, Kultur und Bildung. Auch werden medienpädagogische, subkulturelle und sportliche Angebote gefördert. Offene Werkstätten ergänzen das soziokulturelle Profil des Vereins. In allen Projekten und Angeboten wird den Nutzer*innen die Möglichkeit geboten, eigene Ideen zu verwirklichen. Die Arbeit zielt auf ein friedliches und gewaltfreies Miteinander, die Vermittlung humaner, sozialer und demokratischer Denk- und Verhaltensweisen, die Förderung von Eigenverantwortlichkeit und die Stärkung eines couragierten und emanzipatorischen Handelns ab.
