Manifest für eine nachhaltige, qualitätssichernde Raumplanung und die Schaffung von genügend bezahlbarem Wohnraum
Mit Aufkommen der individuellen Mobilität Mitte des letzten Jahrhunderts ist Stadtplanung in der Schweiz in Vergessenheit geraten. Das Primat lag bei der Verkehrsplanung und Nutzungsentmischung, welche zu einer Zersiedlung der Schweiz geführt hat. Mit Annahme der Revision des Raumplanungsgesetzes 2013 hat das Schweizer Volk entschieden, dass kein weiteres Bauland eingezont und zukünftiges Bevölkerungswachstum mittels innerer Siedlungsentwicklung aufgenommen werden soll.
Wollen wir den im Raumplanungsgesetz postulierten Auftrag der Verdichtung in nachhaltiger Weise gerecht werden und genügend bezahlbaren Wohnraum schaffen, müssen wir die Disziplin der Stadtplanung wieder entdecken und praktizieren.
Das nachfolgende Manifest soll den dafür notwendigen Diskurs über Stadtplanung und Städtebau in Gang setzen. Urbanistica ist Webseite, Plattform und Bewegung zugleich, die Impulse setzt und den öffentlichen Dialog fördert mit dem Ziel, dass in vielen Kantonen, Gemeinden und Städten der Schweiz wieder qualitativ hochwertige, nachhaltige und bedürfnisgerechte Stadtplanung und guter Städtebau betrieben wird.
Über 1400 Personen haben das Manifest bereits unterschrieben.
