Vail Dispute Resolution (VDR) is an independent disputes practice based in London, advising clients on investor-state and international commercial arbitration. VDR was founded in 2019 by leading arbitrator and counsel Tomas Vail, after he practised for over a decade at two of the world’s most prestigious international firms.
As a small boutique, VDR can focus on high-quality, bespoke solutions for its clients. A native Russian and English speaker, Tomas Vail (Principal) is recognised in Chambers, Who’s Who Legal and Legal 500. He is a member of the bar in New York as well as a Solicitor of England and Wales, and fluent in French. Tomas also regularly sits as arbitrator.
