Tenda is a Swahili word meaning "Act." We seek to implement well-researched projects and actively involve the target population in making actual changes in their lives.
Nawiri Program:
Nawiri is a Swahili word meaning "Prosper." This represents the core goal of the Vukisha Empowerment Programme to transform lives. By eradicating development-restraining problems through sustainable solutions, we aim to transform the target population and, consequently, the society at large.
