Heute wird das Unternehmen von Werner Welz und seinem Sohn, Michael Welz, geleitet.
Kernkompetenzen der WERTHOLZ Gruppe sind heute der Handel mit Rundholz sowie der Kauf und die Bewirtschaftung von Forstbetrieben und Landwirtschaften. Die Unternehmensgruppe beschäftigt aktuell rund 20 Mitarbeiter und erwirtschaftet einen Jahresumsatz von rd. € 10 Millionen.
