YSAR is a comprehensive, long-term, development, and community learning program designed to foster the future workforce of Search and Rescue (SAR) and Emergency Management (EM). By demonstrating the relevance of science and technology to their lives, community, and cultures, students cognitively engage with their applications, increasing their skills and uptake of STEM careers, including promoting those from less receptive demographics.
