Zmack was founded in 2009 in Shanghai, China, by Curt Mabry. What started as a small group of friends being silly, is now an internationally-recognised troupe performing all over the world, Chicago, Hong Kong, Manila, Bangkok, Beijing and more!
Zmack is above all an improv family. That family has grown to include Improv classes at the Zmack Improv Training Center (in English, Chinese, and French), Zmack Performing Groups, ZmackWorks (applied improv corporate training), the Shanghai International Improv Festival and more...
How can improv be applied to real life?
Zmackworks uses improvisation techniques and tools to help our clients build trust, resolve conflicts, gain acceptance and buy-in, develop winning teams as well as to drive creativity and innovation. Our applied improv facilitators and consultants all design and deliver programs customized for our clients.
