Improvisational Theater (improv) is a form of theater and acting which trains performers to create scenes from audience suggestions, in the moment. Who is Zmack? Zmack was founded in 2009 in Shanghai, China, by Curt Mabry. What started as a small group of friends being silly, is now an internationally-recognised troupe performing all over the world, Chicago, Hong Kong, Manila, Bangkok, Beijing and more! Zmack is above all an improv family. That family has grown to include Improv classes at the Zmack Improv Training Center (in English, Chinese, and French), Zmack Performing Groups, ZmackWorks (applied improv corporate training), the Shanghai International Improv Festival and more...
