As a lone shift engineer, within this FMCG site, it is my responsibility to carry out reactive/preventative maintenance on an automated bagging, palletising & wrapping machine line, as well as various plant equipment across a single line production site to ensure efficient and safe operation.I also assist production with machinery problems and setups, provide relevant training when required & to work closely with the Engineering Manager/Factory manager to continually review operations to drive improvements in OEE, quality, cost and safety.I have obtained the BS7671:2018+A2:2022 IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition qualification, which enables me to work with electrical installations and circuits.I have also obtained my IPAF license for 1B, 3A & 3B machinery.I am passionate about learning new skills and challenging myself in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to further enhance my career within the engineering industry.
