As a researcher, I am responsible for developing a legal system designed to analyze judicial judgments using state-of-the-art AI techniques. This involves extracting critical information, such as arguments, statute facets, legal-specific entities, and rhetorical roles.My experience encompasses solving various NLP tasks, including information retrieval, question answering, document segmentation, sentence classification, Named Entity Recognition (NER), distant supervision, and text processing. In the domain of Generative AI, I have worked on tasks like NER using small LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with Mistral, and translating natural language text into structured formats utilizing models like T5.Additionally, I have authored and presented research papers, created presentations, and developed posters for industry and academic conferences. I have also built proof-of-concept demos and delivered lectures on machine learning for the TCS iON platform.

Developed a chatbot application for IDRBT, where the problem was framed as an n-intent classification task. This involved building a hybrid model that integrated Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) (encoder-decoder) architectures.Additionally, I designed a dialog manager, a critical component of the chatbot, to accurately predict responses from a predefined list based on user inputs.Furthermore, I implemented a chatbot with feedback functionality using a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) (encoder-decoder model), enabling user feedback for incorrect responses to improve the system's performance.
