As a Grants and Finance Specialist with the World Resources Institute’s (WRI) Global Ocean Program, I am responsible for oversight of the program’s annual budget and managing funding for the Ocean Panel, a unique initiative made up of serving world leaders seeking to build momentum towards a sustainable ocean economy. My role includes managing grants, contracts, sub-grants, and payments related to the Ocean Panel project, working with program leadership to develop funding proposals, tracking and updating budgets, preparing financial and project progress reports, and managing relations internally with WRI’s legal, grants and contracts, finance, and accounting departments and externally with WRI donors, partners, sub-grantees, and contractors.

As a Program Operations Associate with the International Migration Initiative (IMI) of the Open Society Foundations, I manage the operational and administrative needs of a broad portfolio of work related to migrant protections. Specifically, my role includes creating and managing grant records, reviewing applications and subsequent project reports for compliance, ensuring adherence to internal policies and deadlines, carrying out due diligence, producing overview reports to track programmatic impact, and managing internal and external communications.

During my time as a Program Coordinator with Carnegie Europe, I was tasked with coordinating and supporting the implementation of several of the center’s projects, which included managing funding from both institutional and philanthropic donors.

During my time as Carnegie’s Events and Outreach Assistant, I coordinated over 100 public and private events, which ranged from high-level public events to multi-day workshops in partnership with international organisations.

As an Events Assistant with the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound), I provided hands on support during board meetings, external events, and high-level visits; designed and produced event documents and materials (agendas, badges, nameplates, list of participants, etc.); and created and maintained an event database, which followed the progress of all Eurofound internal and external events and served to track progress against key performance indicators.

As Eurofound's Information and Communication Trainee, I updated web pages, uploaded content, and checked translations; contributed written pieces to the monthly newsletter Eurofound News; and proofread, edited, and formatted publications.
