Genetics.Diverse areas, and those that I have traversed over my career and which have always had people, data, real time high performance technology and predictive models at its core.My current role is Global Director of Trading Technology at Flutter PLC (FTSE:FLTR), leading a team establishing a global trading technology operation across the Flutter group of brands (Skybet, Paddypower, Betfair, Sportsbet, Pokerstars and Fanduel to name some).At Flutter, I am responsible for establishing and transforming the teams of people that enable planning, delivery, development, operation and innovation of Flutter's industry leading algorithmic trading, risk and advanced analytics platforms leveraging AWS to drive core product generation with effective risk management guardrails.Prior to joining Flutter, I led and developed teams to deliver customer experience personalisation and MarTech capabilities at Sportsbet presiding over a significant investment in Sportsbet's data platforms ambition. I also spent 8 years living in London, and when not playing soccer or travelling Europe and beyond, was working within a subsidiary of UBS and Julius Baer, Global Asset management (SWX:GAM), performing software design and development of various core analytical and trading platforms leveraged by GAM in the operation of their multimanager funds. Additionally, I worked at Jefferies, an American global investment bank, on the trading floor architecting and engineering systems that facilitated the operation of the securities finance desk.I believe that genuinely living and innovating in the customer domain and providing strong people leadership are the key drivers in the development of high performing teams, something I have continually focused on when giving teams purpose to deliver innovative achievements.
