Perform a wide range of engineering tasks including installation and commissioning of L-3 power and propulsion, products and systems. Provides technical support for installation and commissioning of projects and provides maintenance, breakdown emergency support and remote troubleshooting for ships in operation.•Perform installation and commissioning activities at customer site locations during ship construction. Capable of working unsupervised and leading small teams.•Perform troubleshooting activities at site locations during scheduled Port visits or at sea to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and implements corrective actions.•Perform a wide range of engineering tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of L-3 Power, Propulsion and Control systems.•Develop presentations and provides training and instruction to customers on system operations. Promotes sales of maintenance services.•Perform other related engineering tasks to facilitate proper commissioning and customer satisfaction.•Provide continuous 24/7 support in response to customer calls for service. Ensures appropriate response and service is provided to customer.•Possesse a detailed knowledge, competence and expertise with installation and commissioning tasks and services for Power and Propulsion, products and systems.•Able to install, commission and troubleshoot L-3 Marine electrical control and propulsion installations, which require considerable engineering skill and independent judgment.•Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills essential. •Able to prioritize workload and organize work activities in order to meet business needs and department goals. •Able to independently arrange and organize work efforts on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, able to meet tight deadlines, able to multi-task on a consistent basis.•Demonstrate a high degree of personal and professional ethics and integrity.
