I am a first-year student at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, majoring in management with a minor in mathematics. I have a passion for leadership development, situational analysis, and problem-solving. I have demonstrated these strengths in a variety of positions. In my high school years as the K-pop dance club vice president, I organized events involving over 20 members, efficiently communicated with other student organizations to exchange information and make decisions, and trained members for over 3 different sections of a yearly project. Beyond that, I held over 10 events as an online community leader for a language cosplay group and specified new community rules seasonally.Now at Indiana University, I continue to seek new opportunities to expand my professional and personal leadership. I am broadening my career knowledge by joining student organizations. As a director in the Finance department of the Chinese Business Association, I assist in the holding of workshops and develop professional skills when looking for sponsorship. For my personal interest, I have joined the xPower dance studio and occasionally participated in events spending over 6 hours per week. I plan to grow my involvement by joining the Kelley honors program and becoming a peer mentor. To continue developing my strength in situational analysis and problem-solving, I look forward to engaging in a consulting internship in the future. Ultimately, I see myself pursuing a consulting career solving problems for clients for their businesses.
