During my doctoral studies at the European University Institute I took on three research assistant contracts with professors at the university. From June to July 2020, I assisted professor Etkind with a European grant proposal. From July to November 2020, I assisted Professor Glenda Sluga with historical research. From July to August 2022, I copyedited the manuscript of Professor Etkind's book Russia Against Modernity.

Conceiving and leading English-language courses for groups of up to 30 engineering students with mixed abilities. Leading conversation sessions.

24-hour supervision and instruction of groups of children aged between 6 and 17 in an immersive environment. Conception and leading of educational games, both for small groups and the camp as a whole (about 50 children).

Opening, manning the bar, closing (counting the till, doing the books and locking up).

My main task was to lead tours of the Eiffel Tower. Each tour group was composed of 20 people, usually coming from the USA/Australia/UK. The main body of the tour took place on the tower. Each tour lasted about two hours, and convered both the history of Paris and of the tower itself. The tour was delivered in English.I gave engaging, informative, and humorous tours, ensuring they were understable to all, including those whose native language was not English. I also did everything to ensure the safety and comfort of my audience.When I wasn't giving tours, I made sure that the office was clean and well stocked, and that the customers were greeted and seated.
