I have over 20 years experience in the Travel Industry at different levels from junior sales consultancy to managerial positions covering a range of skill sets such as Marketing, Project Management, Analyst roles and now into management of a team. I consider myself to be a flexible, hard working individual & very passionate about the quality of my work.A large proportion of my career (12 years) was at Traveltek starting as a project manager advancing into the role of Head of Customer Success which was focused around Implementation, Configuration & Training and ensuring the client gets the required outcome of the products they purchased. We supported the client by working collaboratively with the project managers from day 1 until live. As part of "Customer Success" we also provided post live support before handing over to the obsessive support team. Our aim was to give the customer 100% attention & guidance as we built their solution to their needs and guide them through the project until delivery. Personally, i have been fortunate enough to handle projects within & outside of the UK as Traveltek expanded rapidly, main focus in recent years has been in Australia, New Zealand & South America (Chile, Brazil, Argentina), which was very challenging dealing with different timezones but also very exciting and satisfying when delivering projects overseas.Recognised as Employee of the year twice during my time at Traveltek (2008, 2012), 3rd in 2015 & 2nd in 2016, also in the top 10 bracket in 2017 & 2018 which was a personal achievement knowing that my efforts are appreciated.Qualified in Project Management using Prince2 methodology at Foundation level, plus qualified at Foundation & Practitioner level using the Agile PM methodology.Now I am currently enjoying & embracing a role as Head of Systems Operations at Midcounties Co-operative Travel with the aim of improving efficiencies of our chosen systems for our users and ensuring we are at the forefront of using the latest and best tech that suits our business operational needs.I am married & have two wonderful daughters.
