- Designed and implemented an ingestion API to capture and store raw social network data from the Firefox browser.- Developed ETL pipelines to extract, transform and load captured data from the ingestion API into the database.- Explored the current database and social network data to find appropriate influencers for marketing campaign requirements.- Supported data analysts in general influencer information refreshing, follower demographic aggregation, and exporting processed data to generate a final report.- Performed evaluations of several proxy providers to find a backup plan for the crawling operation.- Performed testing and deployment processes in each release cycle.- Maintained the product and fixed detected bugs during system operation.

Participated in open-source and commercial projects related to telecommunication field (High Availability middleware, Load Balancing). Day-to-day works consist of:- Developed new planned requirements from the product owners and several internal tools to make daily work more convenient in the team.- Involve in CI process for testing automation and delivered candidate build to system test.- Maintained the product and fixed detected bugs revealed from daily testing or issue report from customers.- Supported the customers and helped them analyze to find the root cause when they were in trouble with the product.Following are my technical experiences from each project:eVIP: Software solution for load balancing among various nodes in a cluster.- Implemented an alarm to notify which component or agent is in unhealthy state.- Implemented a CLI command to show all used TCP/UDP ephemeral ports on the whole cluster to detect leaked port.- Developed an internal tool to create a consistent personal workspace via Docker quickly for the whole team.- Developed an internal web page to manage and keep track of well-known failed test case via Yii2 framework.- Used Jenkins to perform CI, automate unit tests, and function tests whenever a new merged commit.- Used Ansible to make sure all Jenkins slaves run with the same configuration.- Did system tests and stress tests by Robot Framework.- Write unit tests and functional tests by TCL.Core Middleware: A commercial software serves high-availability features.- Implemented features from leader.- Updated documentation for new feature.- Used JCAT to write functional tests.OpenSAF: An open-source software serves high-availability features.- Implemented Python samples to illustrate how to use OpenSAF libraries.- Implemented a new syslog for a service to print out number of recent messages when that service is down.- Launched a testing cluster of multiple containers via LXC.- Used Nosetests to write functional tests.
