While my primary background is in hospitality and restaurants, building my career in the esthetics and spa industry has become my focus. I am a graduate from Douglas J Aveda Institute, I've completed continuing education through International Dermal Institute as well as True U, and I've had excellent training and education from Tricoci Salon and Spas. I currently work part time at Tricoci's downtown Chicago and Naperville locations, which are full service luxury salon and spas. As an esthetics educator, I train new hire estheticians at the Tricoci headquarters in Palatine, as well as develop continued education classes for current team members to meet their CECs. The most rewarding part of this position is a mentorship that goes both ways; I'm not just a leader for 140+ estheticians, but a learner. They teach me just as much as I teach them!My history as a professional in the restaurant and hospitality industry afforded me exceptional skills in team building, customer service, sales, management, training, and event planning and coordination. In any industry I have been or will be a part of, I'm always striving to learn and adapt to the ever changing demands, both socially and economically, because I believe having a better understanding of needs is the only way to be able to commit to exceeding expectations.
