I am also responsible for flyers, advertising for different publications, website banners, Facebook specials and general marketing for The Travel Specialists.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES• Design 5 brochures annually for Africa, South America, Croatia, India and Antarctica• Write the copy for the itineraries in correct English• Choose photo’s for brochures and brochure covers, correcting the colours or re-touching in Photoshop• Get competitive annual printer quotes• Liase with printer during production• Press checks for each brochure during production• Powerpoint presentations for Film Nights and Escorted Tours for each division• Work closely with Managing Director on projects• Promote the interests of the company following brand consistency throughout marketing materials• Think strategically in terms of new design

Major Media is a signage solutions company based in Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia. I originally completed a 3 week internship during my degree which allowed me to build relationships and return once I had graduated.I was employed to work closely with Account and Project Managers on projects and design signage , adverts, logo’s, business cards and marketing material for clients such as Kathmandu, Jetts Fitness, The Good Guys and Spotlight. I was hired as part of the marketing department, to design postcards; flyers; promotional brochures; property photosigns; phone book advertisements and business cards. I was also engaged as a personal assistant to a rural sales consultant for 2 weeks, which required me to show initiative and take direction to complete set work in a timely manner. I would help out with liaise with clients, internal staff, and other solicitors to ensuredata is transmitted accurately, deadlines are clear, meetings are scheduled, and communications are consistent.
