Experience from public and private sector organizations, nearly 15 years of large-scale construction projects and more than 10 years of international experience. Well rehearsed in business case development, program and project management, and leadership, operational excellence and stakeholder management - in particular the complexities of project execution and deliveries while ensuring operations is fully on board and part of the solution.In-depth knowledge and experience with business, political, highly complex and large scale programs and projects with multiple stakeholders spanning several years. A constant and keen focus on cooperation while delivering results ensuring stakeholders are engaged, involved and have adequate influence on the process. I enjoy delegating while also able to work hard and deliver on my own if need be. Working well with and in a team, but just as happily on my own. We/I deliver on strategies, always demanding of myself and my co-workers that whatever we engage in need to be linked to the overall strategy. If not it may be at best a waste of time, at worst detrimental to the organization. I work strategically, reading the environment looking for optimal ways to deliver results and engage with colleagues from projects and operations and engage with partners. I truly believe in user-involvement and engagement. A project by itself is nothing - the outcome and impact of such a project is the essence. Ambitious & fun - enjoy lots of exercise and run marathon as well as trail. My motto in terms of running is harder, faster, longer - i.e. each time I go for practice or competition I either go faster, run harder (e.g. intervals or hills) or longer runs. I run to improve - my stamina, my energy level, I thrive while running - and working.
